SALES ASSOCIATE – PART TIME

 Main Job Duties (included, but not limited to):

  • Greet & assist customers in showroom.
  • Cash counter duties – ring sales, credit card transactions, gift cards, wrapping.
  • Tagging and placing merchandise, maintaining vendor catalogs, swatches, etc.
  • Select and present furniture and accessory options, after training.

JUNIOR INTERIOR DESIGNER – FULL TIME

Main Job Duties (included, but not limited to):

  • Work directly with clients.
  • Develop proposals and budgets.
  • Client presentations.
  • Tear sheets and product specifications.
  • Space plan all aspects of design jobs, including renovations and new construction.
  • Work on projects from concept to completion.
  • Work with architects, suppliers, contractors, and sub-contractors.
  • In-home installations, including styling (accessorizing).
  • Some assisting our Interior Designers with their project work.
  • Some greet & assist customers, and outside designers in our showroom.
  • Select and present furniture and accessory options (to clients and showroom customers).

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years interior design experience.
  • Space planning.  AutoCAD is a must.
  • Design degree or design school certification.
  • Window treatment experience.
  • Merchandising and accessorizing experience.
  • Remodel and new construction experience.
  • Retail experience (preferred).
  • Design professional affiliation (preferred).
  • Love of home.
  • Innate sense of style.

GENERAL MANAGER – FULL TIME

Main Job Duties:

  • Set the bar in leading the sales and operations teams in providing an exceptional customer experience.
  • Ensure the store team is communicating the Sparrow & Sage / McKee & Company brands effectively, demonstrating knowledge of our products and encouraging our customers to engage with us through our websites and social media
  • Assist in marketing the Sparrow & Sage / McKee & Company brands through hosting events, community/relationship management and collaboration with appropriate business development partners
  • Hire, on-board, train and develop top performing sales associates; track and regularly review key sales performance metrics
  • Manage all scheduling, time-off and open & close duties
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales goals
  • Maintain daily awareness of all customer interfaces, including deliveries, service calls, client pick-ups, memos, house-calls and in-store appointments
  • Oversee upkeep of showroom support materials, including current vendor catalogs, price lists, product, and SOP binders.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years sales/store management success in retail, fashion, or hospitality industry
  • Knowledge of retail management best practices
  • Understanding and ability to work within and support all aspects of a retail business including merchandising, display, accounting, marketing, warehousing and delivery
  • Conscientiousness of your environment, with an ability to multi-task and prioritize conflicting urgent needs. 
  • Professional manner and presentation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness and ability to work during peak business periods and weekends
  • Able to perform physical activity with moderately heavy items, including lifting, carrying, walking, and bending
  • BS / BA in business administration, sales, or relevant field.

 

 

WAREHOUSE MANAGER – FULL TIME

Main Job Duties:

  • Stages orders for pick up, notifies the customer, and processes the shipping paperwork.
  • Performs all receiving, warehousing, and shipping operations with flexibility and responsiveness.
  • Maintains the physical condition of warehouse and office, equipment and racking, and materials.
  • Interfaces with customers, suppliers, and transport companies to support the WHSE operations.
  • Manages inventory levels by conducting physical counts and reconciling any discrepancies.
  • Works cross functionally with the Rome Operations Team to develop stock replenishment plans.
  • Customer Support Specialist:
  • Works with the Sales/Customer Support Team to enter the following sales information:
  • Sales Force: Quotes / opportunities / orders / customer information
  • Wire Portal: All Factory Orders and revisions to existing Factory Orders
  • Creates a personalized positive customer experience:
  • Prioritizes and responds to customer inquires to support their day-to-day needs.
  • Proactively provides customers with required information such as, but not limited to: spec sheets, order confirmation, shipment tracking information and invoices.
  • Works collaboratively with the Regional Sales Team to help expand our reach while increasing our quality customer touches.
  • Works cross functionally with the Rome Process Team to identify solutions in order to ship today / tomorrow orders that support urgent customer needs.
  • Performs Inside Sales responsibilities for assigned customer accounts.

Requirements:

  • Ability to understand the purchasing process cycle in a variety of market segments.
  • Experience working within distribution or related industry (preferred).
  • Strong communicator; both written and verbal skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic cross functional team setting while meeting deadlines.
  • Experience in Power Point, Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • With a minimum of 4 years of professional experience.
  • Warehouse Management: 3-5 years minimum
